Quantum Holographic Brain Theory

Historically, models of dreams and dreaming have been situated either in the physiology or the psychology of the dreamer, that is, the physical or psychological state of the dreamer is generally thought to be the ground from which dream imagery springs, either arbitrarily or by design. Few models, however, take contemporary models of the universe into account in describing the function and process of dreaming. This model of dreaming, which I will call the holo-net model, attempts to situate the dreamer and her dreams within Bohm and Pribram’s holographical models of the universe and brain.

The holo-net model is rooted in the connectionist net theory but differs in three essential ways: (a) the network of available imagery extends into the holomovement of the universal hologram, (b) dream images are highly individual, and (c) there is two-way communication between the consciousness of the dreamer and the holomovement.

An Overview of the Mechanics of Creation of the Cosmos that may be regarded as the body of an Omnipotent, Omniscient, Omnipresent SOURCE (commonly referred to as "God") as a fountain of pure consciousness energy, and us as humans thriving within it, has been presented. This book is aimed at undergraduate and graduate students, researchers or those interested in looking for an alternative to string theory (ST) or statistical quantum mechanics. It assumes a basic working knowledge of information theory, computation, quantum mechanics (QM), space-time and cosmology, ST and loop quantum gravity (LQG). Digital physics (DP) is an all-encompassing theory of the universe which attempts to unify the forces of the universe, including gravity, in a single framework. The premise of DP is that at the fundamental level, matter is made up of information. Recent advances in the physics of information suggest that the universe is more fundamentally made up of bits or qubits: everything in the cosmos, from black holes to galaxies and planets registers these bits of information. In addition, the holographic property of the universe suggests that information is the basis for understanding reality. It appears that humans, animals, plants and particles, in fact everything in the universe, communicates, computes and transmits information non-locally and holographically.

The author of this article is a theoretical physicist and computer scientist, who has no background in literature or creative writing. Nor did he intend to write a book on poetry. This book entitled: “About Love” came as Divine Inspiration. The writing was so captivating, majestic, fascinating and effortlessly magical. The poems came to him during the draft of his book Digital Physics: The Meaning of the Holographic Universe and Its Implications beyond Theoretical Physics. During the writing, he started asking himself many questions, particularly about where do our ideas come from? Is there a universe of ideas out there that we have access to it? Indeed, he is aware that some of our thoughts originate from the books we read, from school, society and the environment surrounding us, but that perhaps does not answer the question. The facts before his eyes say that not all our ideas come from society or learning.

Alfredo Pereira Jr.’s target essay “The Projective Theory of Consciousness” is an experimental statement, drawing on many diverse sources, exploring how consciousness might be produced by a projective mechanism that results both in private selves and an experienced world.  Unfortunately, pulling together so many unrelated sources and methods means none gets full attention. Furthermore, it seems to me that the uncomfortable breadth of this paper unnecessarily complicates his project; in fact it may hide what it seeks to reveal. If this conglomeration of diverse sources and methods were compared to trees, the reader may feel like the explorer who cannot see the forest for the trees. Then again, it may be the author who is so preoccupied with foreground figures that the everpresent background is ultimately obscured.

In Digital Physics: The Universe Is a Programmed System, Ediho Lokanga presents an original and compelling approach to reality in which he argues that our universe is a programmed information system. A blend of physics and computer science, this presentation shows how a programmed universe emerges in a natural way. The author goes step-by-step through syntheses of different fields, empirical evidence, and general lines of reasoning to reveal a new way of understanding our universe in an entirely new light.

Lokanga argues that all living organisms, from humans and other animals to plants and bacteria are bio-computers: programmed systems of their own. They are embedded with physical hardware and invisible software. Each living organism is run on a biological program, or bioprogram. When using the programmed model of the organism, a cell in each living thing may be considered a biochip or biosoftware, and atoms register bits of information. For instance, when two atoms collide, each registers information that is then transformed and processed. Each atomic collision performs computation, which hints at the possible existence of an atomic program.

All physical objects are a combination of the basic chemical elements, which have been programmed to behave or produce certain substances when they combine. During physical, chemical, or biological processes, the outcome of any reaction is known in advance; during these reactions, the components, elements, or systems that are interacting “know” the results of what they should produce under different or specific conditions.

The laws, properties, and outcomes that take place within diverse environments are fixed in advance; nothing operates by chance or in an arbitrary manner. Evidence seems to indicate the existence of a highly computerized setup, with all the rules and laws that this situation implies. This has led Lokanga to suggest that the universe is indeed a programmed information system.

Inspired by the work of David Bohm on holograms and Karl Pribham on brain holography and combined with the concept of the hologram in quantum gravity, Dr. Ediho Lokanga shows how the universe itself is a hologram. The concept of holography suggests that we are all connected and linked in a way we never thought possible. The separateness is an illusion. The implications and consequences of this realization, go beyond theoretical physics. It touches the realm of social aspects with profound implications. The need for peace and dialogue amongst humans is stressed.

Recent advances in quantum theory, quantum holography, holonomic theory, quantum gravity, self-organization theory, and cellular automata theory, suggest that the entire universe is possibly holographically connected—an interlinked network of holograms, energy, and information. The holographic universe hypothesis teaches us that, during entanglement, there is no energy transmission between particles or objects, but there is only information. As a result, it appears that there is no violation of Einstein’s special theory of relativity.

Entanglement simply means that we are all connected and that this wholeness is not subject to spatial separation. The information of the entire universe is contained in each of its parts. Every living entity, inanimate or animate, is ultimately connected to this hologram. The whole is an emergent phenomenon of the parts. The quality of the whole is determined by the nature of its components or constituents. These parts or constituents reflect the nature of the universe, but the nature of the universe is also a reflection of us.

If everything is connected, the separateness is an illusion—the past, present, and future are intimately linked. For instance, the electrons spinning in my body are connected to the electrons spinning in someone else’s body thousands of miles away or on a star or planet located billions of light years away, etc. Thus, reality has a holographic structure. We should work together to end the suffering, discrimination, and poverty that we see throughout the developing nations, Europe, and America, where multinational companies have taken control of everything in the name of capitalism and are currently controlling the politico-social-economic sphere of life.

The present exploratory research aims to investigate the history of holographic art in an attempt to understand the reasons for its discontinuity, if indeed this occurred and the factors that provoked it. The main theoretical reference is the recent book 3D History, Theory and Aesthetics of Transplane Image of German researcher Jens Schröter, University of Siegen. Modern day science claims that all things manifest is made of matter and can be reduced to the elementary particles of matter. However, where do those elementary particles of matter originate?
