Creditcards, cheques enz.: de praktijk van het verzamelen van moderne monetaire objecten

De Van Geldercommissie van het KNGMP roept geïnteresseerden op om een onderzoeksvoorstel in te zenden dat uit kan monden in een eind 2020 te houden lezing.

Geïnteresseerden kunnen hun plan van aanpak van ca. 500-1000 woorden, vergezeld van een beknopt CV vóór 31 maart richten aan de secretaris van de Van Geldercie p/a jaco.zuijderduijn@ekh.lu.se. Deze zal daarna op korte termijn bepalen wiens / wier voorstel uitwerking verdient in het kader van een onderzoeksbeurs van 10.000 euro.

Quando i soldati americani presero d'assalto le spiagge straniere nella Seconda Guerra Mondiale, l'esercito aveva già fatto ogni sforzo per rendere le truppe "pronte al combattimento". Ogni soldato aveva i requisiti per combattere e sopravvivere nella prima fase dell'invasione. L'equipaggiamento del guerriero comprendeva il fucile, la baionetta, le munizioni, lo zaino da campo, le razioni K e un tipo speciale di denaro-la valuta dell'invasione. L'esercito non equiparava il valore di questi oggetti per soldati, poiché ovviamente il fucile era di primaria importanza. Ma l'Esercito ha ritenuto fondamentale che i soldati avessero una valuta negoziabile quando fossero sbarcati in terra straniera. Nel caso in cui l'individuo avesse bisogno di denaro per motivi personali o militari, l'Esercito si sentiva obbligato a fornirglielo nei limiti del suo diritto. Inoltre, l'Esercito, come organizzazione, utilizzava le monete d'invasione nella seconda guerra mondiale perché doveva essere garantito un adeguato approvvigionamento di denaro. Per funzionare con successo, l'Esercito doveva disporre di fondi, non solo per pagare i suoi membri, ma anche per effettuare spese locali. Avere una valuta negoziabile per le spese locali era molto importante, perché contribuiva ad assicurare la cooperazione dei popoli liberati. Un popolo liberato avrebbe avuto molte più probabilità di fornire i beni e i servizi necessari se l'esercito avesse effettuato i pagamenti in un mezzo di scambio facilmente accettabile. Gli addetti ai rifornimenti avevano bisogno di una valuta con cui acquistare articoli dalle economie locali; e chiaramente, l'Esercito poteva procurarsi la manodopera locale più facilmente pagando ogni giorno in una valuta accettabile piuttosto che offrendo un buono da riscattare in una data futura.[1] Poiché l'Esercito non poteva mai essere certo della situazione valutaria in un territorio invaso, era imperativo che fornisse i propri fondi. Secondo il diritto internazionale, le convenzioni dell'Aia e le decisioni della Corte Suprema degli Stati Uniti, una potenza occupante può decretare il corso legale. Pertanto, qualsiasi valuta che l'esercito sceglieva di utilizzare in un paese invaso era resa moneta legale dall'autorità del comandante militare. [2] L'esercito ha utilizzato due tipi di valuta di invasione nella seconda guerra mondiale: le valute denominate nelle unità monetarie dei paesi invasi e le valute denominate in termini di dollari americani. Esempi del primo tipo erano le lire militari italiane, i Marchi militari alleati e lo yen militare supplementare. Il sigillo giallo e i dollari delle Hawaii rappresentano invece il secondo tipo. The paper’s aim is a historiographical review and an analysis of the basic works published by Bulgarian scholars and devoted to the topic of money and prices in the Ottoman Balkans during the 18th and 19th centuries. This period is very important, both in a more general context – from a European and Ottoman perspective, as well as from a Balkan and Bulgarian point of view. We have used a chronological approach and have outlined two periods in our study – between 1878 and 1989 (the time of the Third Bulgarian Kingdom and the subsequent communist regime in Bulgaria) and from 1990 until today (i.e. the period after the democratic changes). The reviewed studies are divided into two main groups: (i) historical studies on money and prices and (ii) numismatic ones. We have given priority to some smaller publications, as they are less known to Bulgarian and foreign researchers. In general, larger studies are known to scholars dealing with the region's monetary history.

This article presents the reasons behind the 1982 abandonment of nickel-plated steel as a solution for minting the last divisionary coin of Socialist Romania, the 25 Bani, and the adoption of aluminum instead. The second oil crisis and the subsequent global reduction in demand and supply for most metals, the biggest since the Second World War, together with the severe growth of the national debt and with the austerity focused and autarchic economic policies of the Romanian leadership imposed a behavior in coinage minting which can also be seen at that moment in many developing countries with significant amounts of specie in circulation.

The hypothesis of a free circulation of money and of bank accountancy would make them as more reliable and government-centric currencies raised by the Austrian economist Friedrich August von Hayek about the privatization of money in the face of the recent emergence of the market for cryptomoedas, which are available in their weights, despite in a still probative state. The historical context of the Hayekian thesis will be analyzed, as well as the mainstream monetary theory and the view of other diverse aspects, besides proposing a version of the current context of monetary theories and showing The example of a presentation of hypotheses, besides showing as recurrent modifications of the implementation of the customs of the economies and the society in general.

Der Begriff "Coin" (dt. Münze) verbietet sich für digitales Geld wie "Bitcoin". Münzen sind geprägtes Geld, die nur ein Staat ausgeben kann, und ein staatliches Produkt ist die Bitcoin eben gerade nicht.

La storia della moneta è millenaria. Già gli antichi commerciavano scambiando valori che fungevano da mezzo di scambio standardizzato. I romani coniarono le monete su supporti metallici. Solo più recentemente la storia ha partorito le banche centrali con la finalità di presidiare la produzione della base monetaria e controllare i meccanismi di politica monetaria.
