I am so proud and honored to be the co-curator of the “Aroosi Exhibition”, another unique cultural initiation by the Farhang Foundation. This exhibition should be considered as one of the first in the history of modern Iran to present the material culture, objects and paraphernalia of “Aroosi”, the traditional Iranian wedding ceremony. The exhibition will be held in the University of Southern California in early 2020.

Essential monotheist concepts are related to unseen oscillatory resonance and play between coherence and incoherence per Quantum Electrodynamic Field Theory. The author discusses congruent versus incongruent tenso-vibrational configurations (TVCs) with respect to moral versus immoral bio-resonance (EMFs)—to include willful selfish intent. Harmful radiance is ascribed to crushing handicaps borne by the LGBT community in light of Dr Baker’s incomplete subject formation thesis. This is done with regard to ontogeny, documented criminal and distempered leanings, and what appears to be a consequent alliance with exceptionalism. The latter concord is linked to Cultural Relativism’s tolerance for immorality. Thus, progressivist pathology is contrasted with morally imbued TVC-EMF congruity. The author identifies the latter congress with the heterosexual synergy that obtains social harmony as humanity's definitive social fabric, especially in light of the final Wedding Feast (Rev 19; 6-9) described in Sexology 502.1. Native American integration of Queer dynamics and identity is presented as a once viable model for precautionary management of incongruent TVC-EMF resonance stemming from a sub-elemental wanton and ever liminal dystopia of Queer ‘being’. The great divide is then defined in terms of postmodernism, Cultural Relativism, and the biblically described ingratitude of exceptionally hidden hands and those who serve them, as discussed in Chapter Six. Some themes touch on Camille Paglia’s unbalanced criticism of William Blake.

The paper critically examines the nature and contents of the practice of surrogacy in indigenous or traditional Esan culture which takes the forms of okhuo-re-okhuo (woman-woman marriage), awekhue (an impotent man) marriage and arebhoa (daughter at home) marriage, as measures put in place to resolve issues of childlessness among couples. Procreation in marriage occupies an integral place in the lives of the people; hence, infertility is perceived as a major problem leading to social stigmatization and is highly intolerable. The Esan people thus prescribe these measures to resolve such a problem The essay examines the philosophical issues that may arise from these measures such as the moral issues associated with them The method adopted in this study is descriptive and analytic; we describe and analyze these forms of surrogacy in Esan thought and also expose and critically analyse how they are slightly different from the Western forms of surrogacy in relation to advanced science and technology as well as the moral issues inherent in them.

ÖZ Bu araştırma, evli kadınların evlilikte kullandıkları başa çıkma yöntemleri ile algıladıkları anne baba tutumları arasındaki ilişkinin incelenmesi amacıyla yapılmıştır. Araştırmanın örneklemini 374 evli kadın oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmada, Bowmen(1990) tarafından geliştirilmiş olan Evlilikte Başa Çıkma Yolları Ölçeği ile Kuzgun ve Eldeleklioğlu(2005) tarafından geliştirilmiş olan Anne Baba Tutumları Ölçeği ve bu araştırma için hazırlanmış olan Kişisel Bilgi Formu olmak üzere üç ayrı ölçme aracı kullanılmıştır. Araştırmadan elde edilen bulgulara göre, otoriter tutum puanları, kendini suçlama, çatışma, kendiyle ilgilenme ve kaçma puanları ile doğru orantılı olarak artmaktadır. Kaçma puanları ayrıca koruyucu istekçi anne baba tutumu puanları ile de pozitif ilişkili bulunmuştur. Bununla birlikte, pozitif yaklaşım puanlarının demokratik tutum puanları ile pozitif ilişki içinde olduğu tespit edilmiştir. PSYCHOLOGY RESEARCH OF THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN MARİTAL COPING STYLES AND PERCEIVED PARENTING ATTITUDES: İSTANBUL ABSTRACT This research is organized to discover the relationship between women's marital coping methods and their perceived parental attitudes. Total number of attendees is 374. In this research, two different inventory, which are Marital Coping Inventory by Bowmen (App 1) and Perceived Parental Attitudes Scale by Kuzgun and Eldeleklioğlu (App 2), and a demographic information form have been used. According to results of the research, points of authoriterian attitude style are positive functions of introspective self blame, conflict, self interest and avoidance. Also, points of avoidance and democratic style points are positive functions each other. Moreover, avoidance points are positive functions of defender attitude.

Öz Araştırmada, Türkiye'deki evli bireylerin evliliklerinde ya da evlenme süreçlerinde sosyal medyanın ro-lünün olup olmadığını ve evliliklerinde sosyal medyanın aile iç problemlere yol açıp açmadığını ortaya çıkarmak amaçlanmaktadır. Araştırma verilerini elde etmek için nitel araştırma yöntemlerinden biri olan yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme tekniği kullanılmıştır. Görüşme, Mart 2019-Nisan 2019 tarihleri arasında X ve Y kuşağında bulunan, sosyal paylaşım ağı kullanan ve Türkiye'nin farklı illerinde yaşa-yan evli bireylerle gerçekleştirilmiştir. Araştırmanın evrenini, Türkiye'de yaşayan evli bireyler oluştur-makta iken, Türkiye'nin farklı illerinde ikamet eden 60 evli birey ise, örneklem olarak seçilmiştir. Çalış-mada elde edilen bulgulara göre sosyal medya hem evlenmeden önceki süreçte hem de evlendikten son-raki süreçte bireylerin hayatında aile içi ilişkiler noktasında önemli bir rol oynamaktadır. Bununla bir-likte, evli bireylerin aile içi ilişkilerinde sorunların oluşmasında ve/veya evliliklerini sonlandırmalarında sosyal medya önemli bir neden olabilmektedir. Çalışmada ayrıca evli bireylerin bulunduğu kuşaklarla ve demografik özellikleriyle, aile içi ilişkileri ve sosyal medyanın bu süreçteki yeri karşılaştırılmış ve anlamlı farklılıklara ulaşılmıştır.

This article explores the questions of marriage and divorce as discussed by Stanley Cavell in his study of classical Hollywood comedies, in which he considered a popular subgenre of the American comedy of the thirties and forties that he dubbed the “comedy of remarriage”. It focuses on Cavell’s analysis of a series of films and the way these comedies belong to a specific American school of thought with a case study of The Awful Truth (Leo McCarey, US 1937). It then seeks to identify traces of Kierkegaard’s moral legacy, by way of Wittgenstein’s influence on the American thinker, in Cavell’s original approach to marriage and divorce in light of his discussion of philosophical skepticism.

Associating with the opposite sex must get maximum control from parents and even family or society. To anticipate the occurrence of underage marriage, the government and religious leaders and community organizations need to socialize the Marriage Law to the public. In addition, cooperation with the health office provides health education regarding the effects of underage marriage. Abstrak Penyebab utama terjadinya perkawinan di bawah umur di Kota Manado adalah hamil. Hamil di luar nikah berdampak pada ketidakharmonisan kehidupan keluarga. Hamil disebabkan oleh pergaulan bebas muda-mudi yang tidak mengenal batas-batas aturan yang digariskan oleh ajaran agama. Bergaul dengan lawan jenis harus mendapat kontrol yang maksimal dari orang tua bahkan keluarga ataupun masyarakat. Untuk mengantisipasi terjadinya perkawinan di bawah umur yaitu pemerintah bersama tokoh agama dan organisasi kemasyarakatan perlu melakukan sosialisasi UU Perkawinan kepada masyarakat. Disamping itu kerjasama dengan dinas kesehatan memberikan penyuluhan kesehatan mengenai dampak yang ditimbulkan akibat perkawinan di bawah umur. Kata kunci : perkawinan, anak, dewasa, di bawah umur.

He was 17 th century England's most visible pastor, a prolific, popular and controversial author, a powerful preacher, married to his parish, passionate for the conversion of souls and for the reformation of England's church. She was, when she first met him, a superficial and self-centered teenager less than half his age, from a family of means, who grudgingly accompanied her mother to hear him preach and ended up soundly converted to Christ. He was a man in a hurry, his days crammed with writing projects, sermon preparation and systematically scheduled meetings with families from the parish (part of his bold pastoral program to meet face to face with the 800 families in his parish every year), supervising assistants and whatever other surprises a minister's day might hold. Not long after her conversion, she was stricken by 'consumption', most likely tuberculosis, and lay for a month close to death. Gathering his inner circle of praying friends, their prayers for her recovery resulted in a sudden cure which was widely noted as God's gracious intervention in her life and which resulted in much thanksgiving and praise to God. But for all of his evident pastoral, preaching and intellectual gifts, he was a difficult man: irritable and prone to speaking or writing his mind when prudence might respond otherwise. He also suffered constantly from a debilitating array of illnesses and symptoms, made even worse when we remember that existing medical 'treatments' often did more harm than good and that there was not even aspirin available for pain relief. Under his ministry, she deepened into an articulate and sensitive soul, aware of and troubled by both the needs of others and her own frustratingly slow progress as a Christian. But she, too, had her issues. Traumas experienced in childhood resulted in lifelong struggles with irrational fear. She also suffered every other week from migraines, and was periodically obsessed with worries over her health. Overly fragile with regards to the attitudes and responses of those closest to her, she struggled with forgiveness and 'letting it go'. Цель доклада – внести вклад в осмысление отношений между названными процессами в обмирщённых, “пост-христианских” обществах, христианским учением о браке и половой жизни, а также практической жизнью верующих.
Current transformations of socio-cultural conceptions, norms and practices in a matrimonial sphere (the end of the natural order) make a challenge that the Church (in its traditionalistic confessions) takes up as crucial for itself and the Christian civilization in tote. The aim of the report is to contribute to understanding of the named processes in secularized, “post-Christian” societies, a Christian teaching on marriage and sexual life, and practical life of the believers.

Innanzi tutto vorrei dirvi quanto è grande la mia gioia di essere oggi qui con voi per condividere verità della tradizione cristiana che sono sopravvissute nelle Chiese di Cristo per la grazia dello Spirito Santo. Desidero anche che sappiate che sono sempre profondissimamente riconoscente alla Chiesa Cattolica perché se la Chiesa Ortodossa è stata mia madre, la Chiesa Cattolica è stata la mia nutrice. Vi sento perciò come miei fratelli e vorrei che anche voi mi sentiste così. Dopo quest'introduzione personale veniamo dunque al nostro tema. Esiste una teologia ortodossa del sacerdozio uxorato? La prima e fondamentale questione è: esiste nella Tradizione della Chiesa ortodossa una-per così dire-teologia ortodossa del sacerdozio uxorato? Direi come ortodosso che per quanto abbia cercato non ho trovato niente di simile! Esiste piuttosto da una parte una teologia del sacerdozio, dall'altra una teologia del matrimonio, ed esistono nella storia e nella tradizione della Chiesa Ortodossa alcuni indizi di collegamento delle due teologie. Quali sono questi indizi? Questi indizi sono alcuni canoni della Chiesa o alcuni avvenimenti nella storia della Chiesa o alcune esperienze di santi registrate nei loro sinassari. Di queste tre categorie d'indizi dobbiamo dire che i più chiari sono i canoni. Tuttavia i canoni come li conosciamo non hanno per lo più un carattere analitico bensì in gran parte costituiscono delle laconiche disposizioni normative. Perciò possono essere considerati solo come indizi e non come chiare e piene formulazioni di una teologia del sacerdozio uxorato! Di conseguenza, che uno parli teologicamente del sacerdozio uxorato nell'ambito della Chiesa Orientale, è un'opera fondata sulla ricerca e sull'interpretazione che egli darà alle informazioni che riuscirà a trovare. Stando così le cose, la mia presentazione oggi si divide in due parti: 1. Una breve elaborazione dei dati della Tradizione che hanno attirato la mia attenzione. 2. La mia opinione personale basata principalmente sulla mia esperienza personale. La mia presentazione sarà quanto più breve e riassuntiva possibile e spero di non stancarvi ma di esservi in qualche modo utile! This is a presentation given at the Catholic Church – Oriental Orthodox Churches International Joint Commission for Theological Dialogue 27 January – 2 February 2019 in Rome.  It provides an overview of the canonical notion of marriage in the Catholic Church.
