Au cours des vingt dernières années, l'approche paysagiste a émergé comme pratique et comme modèle alternatifs aux stratégies architecturales, focalisées sur l'acte de bâtir, qui prédominent dans la conduite des projets urbains et territoriaux. Alors que, récemment, des anthropologues et des sociologues ont fait de la pratique architecturale un objet d'étude, on s'est peu préoccupé de comprendre comment les paysagistes ont contribué à enrichir la connaissance de la ville et comment cette connaissance, reposant traditionnellement sur les opérations mentales et les représentations visuelles, est également portée par des savoir-faire, des gestes et des techniques plus pragmatiques. Bien sûr, plusieurs textes ont signalé, accompagné et théorisé le changement entraîné par les pratiques, les concours, et les propositions concernant le paysage. Le Landscape Urbanism (Waldheim, 2006, 2016) et l’écologie du paysage ont ouvert de nouvelles voies pour imaginer l'avenir des environnements habités. Plus spécifiquement sur la question des outils et processus de représentation, le travail et la réflexion de paysagistes tels James Corner outre-Atlantique (Corner 2014) et Alexandre Chemetoff en France (Devisme, 2007 ; Chemetoff, 2010) ont contribué à renouveler les instruments avec lesquels on dessine et représente les villes. Néanmoins, la thèse que je voudrais développer ici est légèrement différente. Mon intention est d’étudier la potentielle contribution du projet de paysage au champ de l'urbanisme par une approche qui se démarque du paysage, conçu en tant qu'idée ou forme de représentation, pour se concentrer plutôt sur la façon dont les gestes et les processus spécifiques des praticiens du paysage ouvrent potentiellement des pistes différentes de celles proposées par les architectes pour penser et concevoir la ville en transformation.

La réflexion sur l'urbain développée dans leurs pratiques par certains paysagistes permet de dégager un point de vue décalé sur la dimension temporelle inhérente à toute transformation. Notre hypothèse de départ est que la façon dont les paysagistes travaillent le temps apporte des éléments de réflexion importants au projet urbain. Ces derniers ne comptent pas d'habitude parmi les acteurs les plus impliqués dans la conception des villes et la mise en oeuvre de leur transformation plus traditionnellement portée par des architectes-urbanistes. Néanmoins, les résultats croisés de recherches que nous avons menées ces dix dernières années montrent que l'approche paysagère contribue à souligner de façon critique et compréhensive les limites actuelles de la réflexion à grande échelle du territoire.

What follows are excerpts from a project I am calling Rooting into the Planthroposcene. Taking the impossible and nearly comedic form of a step by step guide to getting out of the Anthropocene, this project picks up recent calls for inventive forms of speculative fabulation. This form does well to channel both my rage about our current predicament, and my playful and loving, if also serious aspirations for dreaming worlds otherwise. Just to prepare you for what will follow: this is not so much a research paper, as an incantation. We have to remember that we are living under a spell, and this spell making it impossible for our more than human worlds to flourish. It’s time to cast another spell, to call other worlds into being, to conjure other worlds within this world.  It is clear that we are at the limits of language, at the edges of imagination. We need art, experiment, and radical disruption to learn other ways to see, feel, and know.

The paper aims to analyse the problems of visual representation (photographic and video) related to the description of the Po Valley landscapes, agricultural / productive / housing, defined by the suburb belt around the city of Piacenza. This is a typical “Italian Landscape”  , a title used by Luigi Ghirri to describe these marginal landscapes in the 80s of the last century, located along the Via Emilia, where the natural element mixes with everyday objects. The signs of the commercialization of the environment (understood with extension to geography / territory / city) become the reflection of the contemporary spirit.

La casa está situada en un terreno con una ligera pendiente, en la cima de una colina orientada al sur, cuyos márgenes hacia abajo se encuentran con la extensión de un bosque de robles del feudo Bauly.
Desde el sitio donde se eligió la ubicación de la casa se pueden ver los cuatro puntos cardinales: al sur se encuentra la zona agrícola de Palazzolo Acreide que colinda con la de Noto; al norte se ven el centro urbano y los altiplanos Ibleos, donde el volcán Etna corona la escena; al este se observa el altiplano de Serravetrano y al oeste los densos bosques de roble de Bauly.
El estar se comunica directamente, a través de puertas corredizas de bolsillo, con el patio en el sur y con el jardín privado en el norte. Cuando las puertas se abren completamente en los dos lados más largos del estar. Deja de existir la separación entre interior y exterior, y los limites del espacio domestico se proyectan más allá de lo perceptible. El paisaje se convierte en el bastidor de la casa, un hecho plástico y metafísico de construcción de dicho espacio. La casa hace que emerja la realidad de la campiña iblea con su  bosque de robles y olivos.

The impressive urban growth of China in the last few decades has been largely based on a sustained and state-sponsored economic development which by financing infrastructure development, fostering industrial and manufacturing production, and promoting an aggressive campaign to modernize the country, has deliberately pursued economic and social policies aimed at concentrating activities and people and reshaping and redesign many urban areas of the cities, with the result that the urban landscapes are changing rapidly, with mixed results, but at the cost of neglecting the safeguarding of the genuine spirit and still valuable features of the local places. Reflecting on the recent urban transformation in Suzhou, the paper intends to stress the importance of re-learning the lessons taught by a few highly influential architects and planners, and how the rediscovery of their theses and principles could be a precious resource to look at in order to initiate a different discourse on the design of vibrant, meaningful and beautiful urban spaces more in tune with the local identity.

The word paradise is known as the kingdom of heaven or the Promised Land, in English and many languages. Meanwhile, the word Garden refers to a small piece of ground used to grow plants. In the holy Quran the word (Janna ‫ة‬ ّ ‫جن‬) refers to both heavenly paradise and earthly gardens; thus the garden is a symbol for paradise. The use of the same word to describe gardens in heaven and on earth was not only applied in the language of Quran; it was also represented in gardens' design during Muslim civilization. Some of the elements mentioned in the Quran to describe paradise were essentials. For example some components of the Islamic gardens are gushing water, shades and rivers. Usually these gardens would have four main rivers of paradise (water, milk, wine and purified honey). This study was conducted as a result of the identification of the temples of the Corinthian order built in the Anatolian geography and the examination and evaluation of these structures. The topic covered in the study is divided into two main headings.
In the first chapter; representation and identification of the individual temples while emphasizing the common properties with the other temples is tried by the means of location, planning-infrastructure, architectural ratios, dating criteria and cult basis.
In the “Comparison-Analysis” named second chapter, all temples which are included in the case are analysed with the common properties and the differring properties also considering the outer Anatolian Doric Temples. By the means of gathered data in theaforimentioned chapter, some sorts of consequences are revealed by commenting in the subchapters location, planning-infrastructure, architectural ratios, choronological order and cults. These consequences are represented as statistical data with the help of tables and graphs to achieve a deeper comprehension.

Bu çalışmada, Anadolu coğrafyasında inşa edilmiş Korinth Düzenine sahip tapınaklar tespit edilmiş olup, bu yapılar çalışma içerisinde incelenip değerlendirilerek aktarılmıştır. Çalışmanın konusu ise iki ana başlık altında toplanmıştır.
Birinci bölümde, her tapınak kendi içinde konum, plan-altyapı, oranlar, tarihleyici kriterler ve kültler bazında ele alınıp, önceden yapılmış çalınmalardan da yararlanılmış ve başka yapılarla benzeyen özellikler ön plana çıkarılıp, bu tapınaklar tanıtılıp tanımlanmaya çalışılmıştır.
Çalınmanın ikinci bölümünü oluşturan “Karşılaştırmalı Değerlendirme” kısmında ise, çalışmadaki bütün yapıların ortak özellik gösteren yönleri ve birbirlerinden ayrılan özellikleri, Anadolu dışındaki örnekler de göz önünde bulundurularak incelenmiştir. Önceki bölümde elde edilen verilerin, ikinci kısımda yayılım alanları, konum, altyapı, plan, düzen, kullanılan malzemeler, inşa tarihleri ve kültler gibi çeşitli alt başlıklar altında yorumlanması ile bir takım sonuçlara ulaşılmış, bu sonuçlar ise çalınmanın daha sağlıklı kavranılması adına, istatistiki veriler halinde tablolar ve grafikler ile birlikte sunulmuştur.
