Resumo: Esse artigo analisa as transformações sociais no campo da indumentária e do comportamento feminino, nas três décadas finais do século XVIII, e como elas contribuíram para o alvorecer de um sistema da Moda. Nos debruçaremos nos quatro principais aspectos e atores sociais que favoreceram esse alvorecer: inovações técnicas e barateamento de bens de consumo relacionados à indumentária; surgimento e florescimento da guilda das marchandes de modes, responsáveis pela criação de novas tendências de vestimentas a serem seguidas; criação das primeiras revistas de moda (Cabinet des Modes e Magasin des Modes Nouvellles); atuação, seja direta ou indireta, da polêmica Rainha Maria Antonieta e de seu seleto entourage no campo da moda e do comportamento feminino. Esperamos demonstrar como as décadas finais do Setecentos inauguram uma nova e inédita compreensão sobre a Moda. Palavras-chave: Maria Antonieta Indumentária-Sociedade de corte-História da moda. Abstract: This paper analyzes the social transformations in the field of women 's clothing and behavior in the last three decades of the 18th century and how they contributed to the dawning of a system of fashion. We will focus on the four main aspects and social actors that favored this dawn: technical innovations and cheapening of consumer goods related to clothing; emergence and flourishing of the guild of marchandes de modes, responsible for the creation of new tendencies of clothing to be followed; creation of the first fashion magazines (Cabinet des Modes and Magasin des Modes Nouvellles); the action, whether direct or indirect, of the controversial Queen Marie-Antoinette and her select entourage in the field of fashion and female behavior. We hope to demonstrate how the final decades of the Seventy inaugurate a new and unprecedented understanding of fashion.

En centrant les réflexions autour des notions de victime, de réparation, de mémoire, de réconciliation, de garantie de non répétition, le colloque invite à des échanges sur une relecture de l’an III au prisme de la notion de « justice transitionnelle ».

La domination des corps du xv e siècle à nos jours es una monumental obra colectiva de 1.200 imágenes y 17 capítulos sobre el nexo histórico entre sexualidad, categorías raciales y colonialismo. A través de cinco continentes y siete siglos de explotación sexual, el libro documenta sin reparos la ingente producción visual en la que se apoyaron colonizadores de orden diverso para construir a sus súbditos coloniales como "otros". Detrás del volumen hay un equipo de 97 investigadores que durante cuatro años ha rastreado 320 archivos y colecciones privadas de Europa y Estados Unidos. El resultado ha sido la selección de las 1.200 imágenes -grabados, pinturas, ilustraciones, carteles, postales, fotografías-que se incluyen en la obra. Estas valiosas fuentes primarias, en gran parte inéditas, se reparten entre los 17 capítulos escritos por los cinco coordinadores del volumen y sus colaboradores. Todo ello presentado en un libro de gran formato, con una altísima calidad en la reproducción de las imágenes. Las publicaciones lujosamente ilustradas sobre sexualidad y colonialismo no son ninguna novedad en el mundo editorial francófono, como demuestran los títulos Harem colonial...

Entre la fin du Moyen Âge et le XXe siècle, il s'est produit en France une sorte de révolution culturelle et culinaire dans la consommation de l'huître. Cet article montre ainsi, à partir des traités culinaires et autres sources historiques, comment les Français sont passés d'une consommation cuisinée de l'huître à une consommation crue. / Between the end of the Middle Ages and the 20th century, a sort of cultural and culinary revolution in oyster consumption occurred in France. This article thus shows, from culinary treatises and other historical sources, how the French went from a cooked consumption of oyster to a raw consumption.

ln 1956, the Socialist faction in the Common Assembly of the European Coal & Steel Community put forth a wide-ranging and unprecedented critique of the High Authority, the Community's executive body. The faction's move elicited harsh rebukes from the assembly's Christian-Democratic and Liberal factions and was the first instance of overt and coordinated transnational partisanship. This afticle argues that this bitter exchange would have been unthinkable under the High Authority's previous president, Jean Monnet, who was widely admired by all factions. The Socialist critique encompassed a range of Community policies. Yet the personality of the new High Authority President, René Mayer, proved an important factor in this first exercise in transnational partisanship in the early history of European integration,

This article analyses discourses concerning male same-sex sexuality produced in the context of law and policing in Belgium, France, and the Netherlands between 1770 and 1830. Intervening in the debate over the making of “the homosexual” and the change from homosexual “acts” to “identities,” I argue that shifts in sexual discourses were not linear. In the late eighteenth century, the courts and the police displayed a strong “will to knowledge” in same-sex sexual matters, collecting, requesting, and recording discourses on inclination and, in some regions, even innateness. This will to knowledge all but disappeared in the early nineteenth century, when in the aftermath of the official decriminalization of sodomy, same-sex sexual acts became mostly devoid of further meaning in legal and police records. The emergence of sexual discourses was therefore uneven.

Enzo Cervelli nutriva una vera passione per la fotografia. Malgrado ciò, non l'ho mai sentito discutere del rapporto tra la fotografia e la storia, e non sono a conoscenza di un suo scritto su questo tema, cosí intrigante. Pure, credo convenga partire da qui per cercare di squarciare il velo di ostinato understatement, quell'insostenibile leggerezza del pudore intellettuale, con cui egli proteggeva i propri intenti. Per Enzo la fotografia era essenzial-mente rivelazione, una maniera per far sí che la realtà si manifestasse, per cosí dire, da sola: la scelta autoriale era, insomma, nascosta, e si esprimeva soprattutto nelle sequenze che sceglieva: immagini della sua Venezia, ma-schere di carnevale, paesaggi alpini, flora di vario tipo, ritratti. Scatti rubati con delicatezza e maestria, senza ostentazione. Si trattava di foto rigorosamente in bianco e nero. E questo dice un'altra cosa di lui: ci parla della sua volontà di essere un uomo ostinatamente no-vecentesco, dotato di uno stile pienamente «moderno», non crepuscolare, diverso da quello degli intellettuali fin de siècle aggrovigliati nella crisi delle certezze ideologiche di quello che per noi, oggi, è il secolo passato. Essere novecentesco significava per lui essere saldamente impiantato nella cultura del XX secolo e in fondo il suo interesse per l'Ottocento, secolo che forse conosceva meglio di chiunque altro (con la possibile eccezione di Marisa, naturalmente: sentirli dialogare di cultura positivista tedesca a cena, nella loro casa foderata di libri, era un magnifico, inusuale spettacolo), non costi-tuiva una vera passione per un altro tempo, diverso, ma solo uno dei modi, il piú radicale, di essere compiutamente novecentesco. Per lui stavano pro-prio nel XIX secolo-a ben vedere-le radici della cultura novecentesca, quei nodi profondi che gli interessavano davvero. La fotografia come via d'accesso alla storiografia di Enzo mi pare particolar-mente utile per discutere un libro, il suo ultimo, dedicato alle origini della Comune di Parigi 1.
