El artículo analiza las disfunciones que suscita en las prácticas escolares la aplicación del software libre. Hecho que se produce tanto por la peculiaridad de esta tecnología como por las políticas que promueven los proyectos institucionales de difusión del SL. ¿Cómo tales políticas condicionan las prácticas de enseñanza? Desde el enfoque de los estudios de Ciencia, Tecnología y Sociedad, tratamos de responder al interrogante estudiando varios centros de primaria con técnicas de corte cualitativo. Concluimos que las políticas enfatizan la difusión del SL, pero son remisas en estrategias de acompañamiento para asegurar el éxito de su aplicación.
The article analyzes the malfunctions that the application of the free software causes in the school practices. Fact is produced both for the peculiarity of this technology and for the political ones who promote the institutional projects of diffusion of the SL. As such political do they determine the practices of education? From the approach of the studies of Science, Technology and Society, we try to answer to the question studying several centers of primary with skills of qualitative cut. We conclude that the political ones emphasize the diffusion of the SL, but are remiss in strategies of accompaniment to assure the success of his application.

RESUMEN: Este artículo pretende enfocar cuál es el lugar de las mujeres en las industrias tecnológicas. Sabemos que el núcleo duro de la equidad de género sigue siendo lo económico, cuyo sistema sexo/género sostiene la relación del ámbito productivo y reproductivo. A pesar de que las transformaciones del trabajo han favorecido las posibilidades de empleo para las mujeres, la brecha digital y de clase está en todas partes. No está solamente en el acceso a la tecnología sino, además, está en la capacidad para utilizarla y, sobre todo, para producirla. Sólo un sector muy reducido de mujeres accede a las destrezas informáticas, están conectadas; desde 1997 la presencia de las mujeres incluso ha ido disminuyendo en todas las industrias audiovisuales y de las TICs. Las consecuencias son nefastas: hay menos mujeres detrás de la cámara o creando hardware y software, hay menos protagonistas femeninas, hay menos preocupación por la vida de las mujeres. Si las mujeres no están presentes ni como productoras, realizadoras, ni como ejecutivas de estas industrias, se produce un efecto inmediato en el tratamiento (o ausencia) de temas y enfoques de la mujer y se reconstruyen y refuerzan los estereotipos de género. No obstante, las TICs han permitido el nacimiento de un activismo feminista, indígena, autónomo… en las redes y fuera de ellas; algunos ejemplos pueden encontrarse en este artículo. Demostrando que las tecnologías de la comunicación y la información pueden llegar a ser herramientas de resistencia, transformadoras, participativas y democráticas, socavando viejas relaciones sociales y proporcionando una herramienta para la acción política. Hoy se ha hecho absolutamente necesario para las mujeres hacer suyas las tecnologías, no sólo para dar voz sino, sobre todo, para visibilizar a las mujeres fuera de las construcciones genéricas, normativas y jerárquicas. Las subjetividades emergentes necesitan otros modelos, nuevos modelos. Hoy vivimos una época de crisis de todo tipo muy propicia para revisar las prácticas visuales y tecnológicas y reflexionar de nuevo sobre el papel que cumple la representación en la construcción de lo real. ABSTRACT: This article aims to focus on what is the place of women in technological industries. We know that the hardcore issue of gender equity continues being economic, involving a sex / gender system that sustains the relation of productive and reproductive areas. In spite of the fact that labour changes have favoured the possibilities of employment for women, the digital and class gap are everywhere. Not only is it evident in the access to technology but also, in the capacity to use it and, especially, to produce it. Only a very reduced sector of women achieve IT skills, they are connected; since 1997 the presence of women has even been diminishing in all audio-visual industries and in technologies of information and communications. The consequences are ill-fated: there are fewer women behind the camera or creating hardware and software, there are fewer feminine protagonists, there is less concern for the life of women. If women are not present, not even as producers, directors, nor as executives of these industries, an immediate effect takes place in the treatment (or absence) of topics and approaches concerning woman, therefore reconstructing and reinforcing gender stereotypes. Nevertheless, technologies of information and communications have allowed for the birth of an autonomous, indigenous feminist activism, … in the networks and outside them; some examples can be in this article. Demonstrating that these technologies can become tools of resistance, transformative, participatory and democratic, undermining old social relations and providing a tool for political action. Today it has become absolutely necessary for women to make technologies their own, not only to give them a voice but, especially, to make them visible beyond normative or hierarchical generic constructs. Emergent subjectivities are in need of other models, new models. Today we are living in a period of all kinds of crisis that favour reviewing visual and technological practices, and that reflects again on the role that representation fulfils in the construction of what is real.
