Le présent article s’intéresse à un genre éditorial rarement étudié sous l’angle de la censure, les recueils de facéties et bons mots (facezie e motti). Nous retraçons ici la chronologie et les justifications de la censure inquisitoriale de ces textes entre 1550 et 1650. Dans les années 1550, l’Inquisition romaine s’engage dans une stratégie répressive à l’égard de la facétie qui se traduit par la mise à l’index de plusieurs titres à succès. Elle est motivée dans son action par la lutte contre l’hérésie protestante, une inquiétude face à la profusion de textes en langue vernaculaire, une hostilité de principe à l’égard des œuvres de fiction, et par les accusations d’anticléricalisme et d’obscénité portées contre la facétie.

A análise realizada nesta obra sobre censura e promoção literária durante o Estado Novo não se concentra somente nos aparatos estatais, mas também no papel desempenhado pelos intelectuais na vida social. Um dos propósitos deste trabalho é compreender o papel do governo brasileiro em relação à produção cultural e, paralelamente, destacar a contribuição ou resistência dos intelectuais a esse complexo sistema de dominação. O intelectual, como Antônio Cândido destacou, “parece servir sem servir, fugir mas ficando, obedecer negando, ser fiel traindo”. Focando neste panorama extremamente complexo, pretende-se responder algumas das seguintes perguntas: Quais foram os mecanismos de censura literária desenvolvidos pelo Estado Novo? Que papel a literatura desempenhou neste período? Como os intelectuais se organizaram para resistir, contribuir ou se adaptar a esse contexto? Qual o papel dos órgãos de censura e promoção literária? Quem foram os articuladores das políticas de restrição e promoção no campo do livro? Como a população resistiu ao projeto literário oficial do Estado Novo? Dessa maneira, busca-se entender como, em que direção, contra quem e com que intensidade o Estado exerceu seu poder no campo das políticas oficiais do livro; e, por outro lado, examina-se a relação literário-simbólica entre Estado, intelectuais e sociedade civil.

Il presente intervento intende ricostruire la ricezione della tragedia Antonio Foscarini (1827) di G. B. Niccolini nel territorio di Venezia, dove l’opera fu vittima di una "doppia censura" che mise d’accordo occupanti austriaci e dominati. Se i primi bandirono il testo con la formula del damnatur, in quanto colsero nella rappresentazione dell'Inquisizione veneziana un riferimento ai processi condotti ai danni dei liberali italiani negli anni 1820-21, i secondi accusarono Niccolini di aver delegittimato la loro antica patria e le sue istituzioni politiche. L'analisi della censura del dramma nella città lagunare si rivela così una fonte di spunti interessanti per meglio comprendere il sottotesto politico dell’opera e la specificità del Risorgimento veneziano.

La scrittura violata è la storia del cammino accidentato di un romanzo, Fontamara di Silone, su cui all’inizio furono in pochi a scommettere. Ambientato in un paesino abruzzese inventato ma vero, remotissimo dagli eventi della grande storia, il romanzo parlò un linguaggio universale, perfettamente inteso dai “cafoni” di ogni latitudine: il linguaggio del riscatto sociale. Fu compreso benissimo, perciò, anche dai governi: sia da quelli del fronte antinazista, che lo usarono come arma propagandistica contro il nemico, fingendo di non notarne la carica eversiva, sia da quelli fascisti, efficienti nella compilazione di indici di libri proibiti. Ma si sa, lo spirito soffia dove vuole e il testo siloniano continuò a circolare sotterraneamente anche negli ambienti più ostili, compresa l’Italia mussoliniana, dove venne letto in traduzioni clandestine o ascoltato di nascosto sotto forma di radiodramma dagli altoparlanti di Radio Londra.
Questa singolare opera di un esule, composta da una materia ibrida a metà tra cronaca e politica, letteratura e giornalismo, mal sopportava evidentemente i limiti di una “forma”, adattandosi benissimo al genere o all’idioma che le si richiedeva, di volta in volta, di indossare. Il romanzo rinacque, quindi, come testo teatrale, ballata, radiodramma e, così facendo, andò oltre se stesso, offrendosi al lettore come esempio di quella libertà che nelle sue pagine è inseguita con tanta passione.

This study focuses on three authors whose research concerns have centered almost ritualistically on censorship in Romania: Adrian Marino, Liviu Maliţa and Liliana Corobca. While other works and researchers in the field of censorship studies are also mentioned in this essay, these three scholars are remarkable in terms of their consistent, ample research on this topic. Each of them has engaged, in their own particular ways, in outlining a history and biography of censorship in Romania. My reasons for selecting these three authors are of a multigenerational nature. Marino, Maliţa and Corobca belong to very different generations, separated by many years, yet they encapsulate the defining features of their own generation.

В статье проанализирован ряд эпизодов литературных отношений Е. А. Баратынского и А. И. Тургенева, демонстрирующих особенности их позиции в литературном поле 1820-х – первой половины 1830-х годов. Подробно реконструируя обстоятельства преподнесения Тургеневу дотиражного экземпляра «Стихотворений» 1835 года с опорой на неопубликованное письмо Баратынского, автор статьи также уточняет историю публикации этого сборника.

The article focuses on the history of literary relations between E. A. Baratynsky and A. I. Turgenev, demonstrating their dispositions in the literary field of the 1820s – the first half of the 1830s. Basing on an unpublished letter by Baratynsky, the author reconstructs in detail the episode when the poet managed to present to Turgenev a pre-print copy of his “Collected Poems” («Stikhotvoreniia», 1835), and thus clarifies the publication history of this edition.

Two texts from the Fifth Lateran Council (1512-1517) in Danish translation with an introduction. The first document is the Church's condemnation of the Averroist teaching on the soul.
