A qualitative analysis of different parameters such as Phase noise, Slew rate and tranconductance by using power gating reduction technique is presented. The circuit achieves the large driving capability by employing simple comparators to sense the transients of the input to turn on the output stages, which are statically off in the stable state. The effect of the different number of transistors and their topologies on the phase noise and Slew rate is analyzed. Good agreement between qualitative and quantitative measurements is observed. Scope of reducing of Noise and avoidance of Leakage due to various sources is discussed.

Please e-mail me for obtaining this article before 2025: elafli@yahoo.ca In this paper a marble ambo slab from western Turkey will be presented which was originally published by Anastasios K. Orlandos in 1937 and its inscription was re-considered by Georg Petzl in 1990. Its epigraphy mentions a formerly unknown episcopos, Euethios, who was probably bishop of Smyrna during the Early Byzantine period. On this occasion, a brief review of the depiction of peacocks or two antithetic peacocks flanking a vase in the marble architectural sculpture of Byzantine Asia Minor is presented, in order to to assign a more concise date for the ambo slab from Izmir. An accompanying catalogue with several examples of peacock depictions from Asia Minor was made and a marble plate with a peacock depiction is also included from Skopje, Macedonia. In this article Ergün Laflı gave a detailed description of this inscribed ambo plate which is a valuable historical document, while Maurizio Buora analysed its inscription and made its epigraphic assessment as well as a systematic examination of the iconography of peacocks in the marble architectural sculpture of Byzantine Asia Minor through over thirty examples in museums. Keywords: marble ambo slab, bishop, peacocks, peacocks flaking a vase, western Asia Minor, Turkey, Early Byzantine period, Byzantine architectural sculpture, Byzantine epigraphy. This article presents a newly deciphered Old Babylonian fragment of the Epic of Gilgameš. The passages of text preserved on it tell of Enkidu’s encounter with the prostitute and of his arrival in the city of Uruk, and clarify the relationship between other sources for the same episode. The perceived difference between the Old and Standard Babylonian poems’ treatment of Enkidu’s seduction disappears. The extant versions can be reconciled in a single narrative, common to all versions, that holds two different weeks of sexual intercourse. The different narrative strategies deployed in describing them are one of the ways in which the poem explores Enkidu’s psychological development as he changes from wild man to socialized man.

Diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL) is the commonest non-Hodgkin lymphoma encountered by hematopathologists and oncologists. Management guidelines for DLBCL are developed and published by countries with high income and do not cater for practical challenges faced in resource-constrained settings. This report by a multidisciplinary panel of experts from Pakistan is on behalf of three major national cancer societies: Society of Medical Oncology Pakistan, Pakistan Society of Hematology, and Pakistan Society of Clinical Oncology. The aim is to develop a practical and standardized guideline for managing DLBCL in Pakistan, keeping in view local challenges, which are similar across most of the low- and middle-income countries across the globe. Modified Delphi methodology was used to develop consensus guidelines. Guidelines questions were drafted, and meetings were convened by a steering committee to develop initial recommendations on the basis of local challenges and review of the literat...

Zearalenone (ZEN) and its metabolites, alpha-zearalenol (α-ZEL) and beta-zearalenol (β-ZEL), are ubiquitous in plant materials used as feed components in dairy cattle diets. The aim of this study was to confirm the occurrence of ZEN and its selected metabolites in blood samples collected from different sites in the hepatic portal system (posthepatic–external jugular vein EJV; prehepatic–abdominal subcutaneous vein ASV and median caudal vein MCV) of dairy cows diagnosed with mastitis, ovarian cysts and pyometra. The presence of mycotoxins in the blood plasma was determined with the use of combined separation methods involving immunoaffinity columns, a liquid chromatography system and a mass spectrometry system. The parent compound was detected in all samples collected from diseased cows, whereas α-ZEL and β-ZEL were not identified in any samples, or their concentrations were below the limit of detection (LOD). Zearalenone levels were highest in cows with pyometra, where the percentag...

This paper presents our research approach and findings towards maximizing the accuracy of our classifier of feature claims for cybersecurity literature analytics, and introduces the resulting model ClaimsBERT. Its architecture, after extensive evaluations of different approaches, introduces a feature map concatenated with a Bidirectional Encoder Representation from Transformers (BERT) model. We discuss deployment of this new concept and the research insights that resulted in the selection of Convolution Neural Networks for its feature mapping aspects. We also present our results showing ClaimsBERT to outperform all other evaluated approaches. This new claims classifier represents an essential processing stage within our vetting framework aiming to improve the cybersecurity of industrial control systems (ICS). Furthermore, in order to maximize the accuracy of our new ClaimsBERT classifier, we propose an approach for optimal architecture selection and determination of optimized hyperp...

In medicine, a lot of exceptions usually occur. In medical practice and in knowledge-based systems, it is necessary to consider them and to deal with them appropriately. In medical studies and in research, exceptions shall be explained. In this chapter, we present two systems that deal with both sorts of these situations. The first one, called ISOR-1, is a knowledge-based system for therapy support. It does not just compute therapy recommendations, but it especially investigates therapy inefficacy. The second system, ISOR-2, is designed for medical studies or research. It helps to explain cases that contradict a theoretical hypothesis. Both systems are working in close co-operation with the user, who is not just considered as knowledge provider to build the system but is incorporated as additional knowledge source at runtime. Within a dialogue between the doctor and the system solutions respectively explanations are searched.

New five‐membered cyclic nitrones with gem‐difluoroalkyl groups in γ‐position have been prepared by a 3‐step sequence starting from propargylic alcohols. This domino process involves a base‐mediated isomerization reaction to enones, which are trapped in situ by nitroalkane anions. In a final step, starting from these key precursors, a reduction‐cyclization process affords the target molecules. Mono‐ and bicyclic nitrones have been prepared by this route which allows, as well, the synthesis of nitrones with functional groups in terminal position of the side chain.
