The NT and the LXX, as well as the entire NHL, Patristics, Roman historians and earliest Christian manuscripts are called to the stand, and they all attest to the concept of an Anointed one developing long after the four Christian gospels had been published. Thomas stands at the origin of it all, even though it has nothing to do with any of it.
