The present book has been written primarily to cover the interests of researchers working in various Universities and Institutions. This study aims at the type and texture, structure and development, phloem activity and production of bark tissues in Citrus species. The outline, contents and subject matter of this book has been presented and geared up according to the niches and needs of the researchers. Efforts have been made to include the latest information available.

Resumen: ¿Es posible para los jueces prescindir de la ideología y los criterios morales para resolver? ¿Es deseable hacerlo? A partir de estas preguntas, surge una de mayor generalidad: ¿Es la filosofía del derecho y la teoría del razonamiento judicial quienes deben responder? O, en la medida que estas inquietudes conciernen al campo del pensamiento humano, disciplinas como la psicología, ¿tienen algo que aportar? No es nuestro propósito fijar una postura definitiva, ni adscribir a una corriente particular, sino demostrar cómo el análisis se enriquece si lo atravesamos con otros enfoques disciplinarios, estrechamente vinculados al pensamiento en general y al razonamiento de la judicatura en particular.

En este artículo se dan a conocer los resultados de la investigación arqueobotánica realizada en el distrito minero San José del Abra, en el norte de Chile. Esta mina, tras ser explotada inicialmente durante el período Intermedio tardío, fue incorporada posteriormente al Tawantinsuyu, produciéndose una reorganización e intensificación de la producción minera. Las excavaciones realizadas en el campamento Inkawasi-Abra permitieron recuperar una amplia diversidad de restos vegetales provenientes de distintos ecosistemas y pisos ecológicos de la región, los cuales cumplieron roles primordiales al interior del espacio habitacional. Brachytherapy treatment planning systems (BTPS) are employing the American Association of Physicists in Medicine (AAPM) Task Group 43 (TG-43)-recommended dosimetric parameters of sources, which are measured in water. The majority of brachytherapy implant volumes are not homogeneous media. Particularly, an implant with multiple seeds significantly changes homogeneity of the implant volume. Heterogeneities, such as attenuation by adjacent seeds or interseed attenuation (ISA), are neglected to this day in all BTPS. The goal of this project is to determine a novel analytical method to evaluate the impact of the dose perturbations (P-value) and/or interseed attenuation effect (ISA-value). The article deals with education as one of the key factors for better social integration and improvement of living conditions of the Roma population. The research is focused on the attitudes of parents of Roma and nonRoma children in order to find concrete solutions to overcome the problem of education of Roma children in the municipality of Ub. The research included 55 parents of non-Roma children, 50 parents of Roma children and three parents of Roma children with disabilities. The results show that Roma children need support in terms of education from an early age, that it is important to raise the awareness of Roma parents and children about the need for education, that parents must be involved in school events and the child's progress. Greater engagement of teaching staff is needed in order for everyone in the school environment to feel equal, to enable education that would qualify them for working with Roma children, and to adapt teaching materials to the needs of children...

A partir de un estudio de tipo cualitativo basado en el estudio de caso, este artículo aborda el proceso de elaboración de la Ley de Educación Técnico Profesional N° 26058/2005 en Argentina. ObjectiveTo evaluate the efficacy and safety of oral levosimendan in patients with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS). This phase II, randomised, double-blind, placebo-controlled, crossover, three-period study with 6 months open-label follow-up enrolled adults with ALS and sitting slow vital capacity (SVC) 60%–90 % of predicted from 11 sites in four countries.MethodsPatients received levosimendan 1 mg daily, 1 mg two times a day or placebo during three 14-day crossover periods and levosimendan 1–2 mg daily during open-label follow-up. Primary endpoint was sitting SVC; secondary endpoints included supine SVC, ALS Functional Rating Scale-Revised (ALSFRS-R), tolerability and safety.ResultsOf 66 patients randomised, 59 contributed to the double-blind results and 50 entered open-label follow-up. Snakehead fish (Channa striata) is a member of the Channidae family, which can live in freshwater areas or rivers, brackish water, and swamps. Snakehead fish belong to the group of savage and aggressive carnivorous fish. Snakehead fish reproduce through spawning naturally in the rainy season. Natural physiological and environmental factors can be used as a signal to stimulate spawning in this type of fish. This fieldwork practice was carried out at the Center for Aquaculture Technology Development (BPTPB), this work practice used observation, interview, and documentation methods, parameters observed included fecundity, egg fertilization, hatching rate, specific growth rate, and survival rate. The results of the observation showed that it produced 10,000 eggs, a fertilization rate of 92%, a hatching rate of 94% growth rate, a specific growth rate of 15% and a survival rate of 94%.
