Excavation at Khirbat al-Mudayna and Survey in the Wādī ath-Thamad: Preliminary Report of the 2008, 2010 and 2011 seasonsReport on excavation of Iron Age and Nabataean period buildings at Mudayna Thamad, mapping of survey sites around Rujm Hiri and in the Wadi Shabik.
in Annual of the Department of Antiquities of Jordan 59 (2018), p. 607-622. This article presents the results of the excavation campaign carried out in Dharīḥ in May 2013 on behalf of the French-Jordanian Archaeological Mission of Khirbat adh-Dharīḥ. Three operations were undertaken on different buildings, in order to complement the previous excavations. Soundings and cleaning were undertaken by P. Piraud-Fournet in the northern house of village V1, which is the largest domestic building of the site, in order to determine its phasing and chronology. At the same time, work was carried out in Area A, about 150 m south of the sanctuary’s southern entrance (second court), on both a Nabataean/ Roman mansio (L. Tholbecq) and the associated public baths (C. Durand).
