Este artículo se centra en algunos aspectos clave del sistema filosófico de Emil Lask con el fin de poner de... more Este artículo se centra en algunos aspectos clave del sistema filosófico de Emil Lask con el fin de poner de manifiesto cómo su intento de determinar lo que podría llamarse la esfera de lo originario, es decir, el encuentro primigenio entre la conciencia y la realidad, le conduce inevitablemente a una aporía. En la primera parte afrontaremos la cuestión a partir del problema del conocimiento y, en la segunda, a partir de la historia y su valor, mostrando en este recorrido qué une y qué separa a Lask del pensamiento de Husserl y Heidegger.

Thomas Kuhn's post-1980 writings have increasingly emphasized the role played by language in the characterization of... more Thomas Kuhn's post-1980 writings have increasingly emphasized the role played by language in the characterization of scientific revolutions and incommensurability. We argue that Kuhn's `linguistic turn' can be understood best against the background of a Whorfian conception of language and certain neo-Kantian themes. While this enables Kuhn to refine and unify his earlier views, it also creates some difficulties.
