The Himyarites commonly used monograms on their coinage. The reasoning behind these monograms
are uncertain, but most of them are likely mintmarks. It can be proved that they are not all representing
mintmarks by looking at the coins with the mint of Raidan written out in full form (cf. SNG ANS
1602). The following is a list of all the known mintmarks, from several different sources.
We will use Hebrew letters to show the Old South Arabian Himyarite script, so please not the
differences between letters such as ד and . We will alphabetize the inscriptions using the Hebrew
alphabet as well
