This paper presents and analyzes the potential uses and motivations of online social networks in education, with special emphasis on secondary education. First, we show several previous researches supporting the use of social networking as an educational tool and discuss Edmodo, an educative online social network. The work carried out during two academic years with senior students of primary and secondary schools is also analyzed. This research has allowed us to see the reality of social network use among young people and identify the challenges of its application to education environment.

The researches in education are increasing year by year. This enhancement of the researches are the important aspect in the development of new educational methods techniques. Nowadays, the information society in our region needs wider educational spaces supported by the internet connection that provides a good tool to use educational technologies using online applications. Indeed, interactive tools give us privileges to have access to a huge amount of information in a multi-sequential way by using specifically suitable tools for the learning of a specific knowledge. These interactive tools have many advantages for learning mathematics. In our case, we present an interactive tool to show the main applications of Modular Arithmetic in a brief theoretical environment.

At the same time, we make use of the extensive communication between students in social networks, and capture their attention to insert this communication processes into an educational scope. In this situation, students of all high schools, of an autonomous region, once registered in the system can communicate and perform the learning process in a collaborative way. Students can access and display the common educational content of the various high schools. This relationship gives rise to the students of various high schools to work in a collaborative way and support their peers.

This paper proposes an efficient password based multiparty Key Agreement Protocol. Security of the protocol is based difficulty of breaking Elliptic Curve Discrete Logarithm Problem and one way hash function. This is resistant against different attack. The security analysis have been discuss and proved in this article.

It consists of elements of face-to-face teaching, of multimedia mediation (text books, slides, classic texts, interactive videos, FAQ lists, video glossaries), e-Portfolios, Web 2.0 tools (wikis, weblogs, social networks, social bookmarking and folksonomies) and of the use of a learning management system (with learning units and tests). The platform was evaluated by its users (university students) by means of SERVQUAL. According to the evaluation, students are satisfied with the InfoCenter and are willing to use it for their exam preparation.

In light of this, the Universities have to take advantage of using e-learning to deliver education to students. A lot of factors must be put into consideration for any universities that need to venture into e-learning based courses. This paper is intended to examine the e-learning critical success factors (CSFs) as perceived by students. In this study, two main factors related to the e-learning CSFs within a university environment including technological and student factors were examined. The factors were tested by surveying 450 undergraduate students at the Universiti Teknologi Malaysia. The results revealed that internet browsing speed and instructor participation in discussion groups are most critical factors for e-learning.

It is a low-resource, middle-out approach, based on the creation of “pivot” teachers at each UTAD subunit, supported by consultancy services. It was initiated in September 2010 and scheduled for one year, with the ambition to serve as a basis to extend e-learning and b-learning practices to the overall organization.

In our study, which was conducted between 2010 and 2012 and mainly took place in the academic context of Germany and South Korea, we found out that the students’ perception of time management is strongly related to their culture. When edu-cation takes place in cross-cultural settings, which related to Internet-based education in future will be the stan-dard-setting, this particular difference can lead to major frustration as well for the learners as also for the educa-tors. Particularly in the e-Learning scenario, where learners rarely communicate upcoming conflicts, and where ongoing motivation needs to be understood as a crucial condition to succeed (Richter & Adelsberger, 2011a, p.1600), this issue needs to be targeted. In this paper, after introducing the relevant theoretical background, we first present our study setting and finally discuss the results.
