Consistent with Shandong University’s mission of engaged scholarship and excellence in both teaching and research, we seek scholars who have demonstrated competence in one or more of the following research areas: philosophy of science, philosophy of cognitive science and philosophy of mind. The positions can be at either junior or senior levels; they can be either tenure-tracked or based on renewable contracts (usually five years). The successful candidates will be expected to teach at least one course related to the individual’s specialization(s) per academic year. The candidate will show dependability, empathy and reliability, and possess the ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse communities and cultures.
