MacEwan University Associate Registrar Records & Convocation
MacEwan University was established in 1971, and serves over 19,000 credit students in Bachelor degrees, University Transfer programs, Applied Bachelor degrees and diploma and certificate programs. Reporting to the University Registrar, the Associate Registrar Records and Convocation is responsible for the leadership, management and supervision of the Records Unit and Convocation Unit in the Office of the Registrar. The incumbent ensures the integrity, accuracy and privacy of the student record and ongoing development of the student record system, which expresses student academic achievement through transcripts and credentials. The Associate Registrar Records and Convocation will also lead the University’s convocation efforts and handle various student administrative appeals, providing insight and final assessment. In conjunction with the other Associate Registrars, this position is responsible for all daily operations of the Office of the Registrar. The ideal candidate will have a Graduate degree and progressive related experience within a recognized University setting. Those with a Bachelor’s level degree and five or more years of directly related leadership experience may be considered.
