Pharmacogenomics Faculty Position

Assistant Professor

 

The Department of Molecular Pharmacology, Physiology & Biotechnology at Brown University announces the opening of a faculty position at the rank of Assistant Professor, effective July 1, 2012.  Qualifications include a Ph.D. and/or M.D. degree with relevant postdoctoral research training and a record of excellence in research. The successful applicant will be an experimentalist in the general area of Pharmacogenomics who will be expected to pursue an independent, externally-funded research program.  Areas of interest include variations in any target affecting the pharmacodynamics and/or pharmacokinetics of therapeutic agents, using systems ranging from stem cells to whole organisms.  The applicant should demonstrate a commitment to graduate and undergraduate education, and will have the opportunity to participate in predoctoral training programs within the Division of Biology and Medicine and campus at large.
