TENURE-TRACK/ANTICIPATED) ASSISTANT PROFESSOR -- MUSICOLOGY School of Music
Responsibilities: Teaches courses in music history to undergraduate and graduate music majors. Serves on graduate committees, as assigned by area coordinator and Director of the School of Music. The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to pursue an active research agenda and publication opportunities, commensurate with graduate faculty status at a Tier 1 research institution.
Required Qualifications: Ph.D. in Musicology in hand; teaching experience at the collegiate level; and, a successful publication record.
Additional Qualifications Desired: Specialty of research that complements the current faculty, with a preference for film music.
Salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience.
Expected start date is August 2012.
