The University of Cincinnati is currently accepting applications for a Visiting Associate Professor.
This faculty member will have dual responsibility for the graduate (MFA) and undergraduate (BFA) design training areas. This will include the teaching of traditional courses in Stage Design I and II, Stage Graphics III (Hand Rendering), Stage Graphics IV (Computer Rendering) and Stage Production Practicum. The faculty member will supervise undergraduate and graduate design projects; will assist in recruiting efforts for the department and may design up to two productions at CCM; and, will serve on appropriate departmental faculty committees.
The position will necessitate residency in Cincinnati. However, professional commitments will be considered by the committee in a positive view.
Job Description: On a full-time, limited-term basis, the Visiting Faculty Member's principal academic functions include teaching, discovering, creating and reporting knowledge.
Min. Quals.: Appropriate academic degree related to department specifications and prior academic experience.
Ideal Qualifications: Membership in USAA is highly recommended.
