La presente investigación tiene como fin el identificar el nivel de competencia en
planeación y gestión que tienen los pequeños negocios dedicados a la comercialización en
Nayarit. La investigación es descriptiva y los datos recabados contienen información
cualitativa y cuantitativa. La población es de 10,199 empresas y la muestra probabilística
de 100 establecimientos. Los resultados indican un nivel de competencia de los comercios
es de 72.65 % lo que significa que es necesario considerar implementar cambios para
mejorar, siendo prioritario lo relativo a la elaboración de propuestas y administración
financiera.

The investigation determines the mastery of the skills in planning and management
in commercialization businesses in Tepic. The research is descriptive and gathers
quantitative and qualitative data. The population is 10,199 commercialization businesses
and the probabilistic sample is 100 businesses. Research shows that marketing businesses
have a 72.65% mastery of planning and management skills.It is necessary to improve the
process to develop proposals and improve financial management.

ABSTRACT Wind power production in Adriatic wind conditions, especially in Croatian Control Area, is extremely dependent on variable wind conditions and therefore very unpredictable. Accurate wind power forecasting is important to ensure safe power system operation and safe electricity supply. Special attention has been paid to application of extreme value theory in defining, evaluating and measuring risk of wind power forecasting and therefore risk of safe power system planning, operation and control.

Must planning be synonymous with the alienation of and from politics, or,
conversely, the monopolization of politics by the planner-state? In this paper, we want to reframe a contemporary return to economic planning in the age of the logistical revolution through an archaeological detour which will consider the practice and theory of planning in the early years of the Soviet Union. The decade following the October Revolution of 1917, and especially the institution of the New Economic Policy (NEP, 1921-28), can be fruitfully explored to reveal a different figure of the plan, one which is not to be grasped through the neutralization of the political or its monopolization by the state, but which can best be understood as a kind of planning for conflict. This approach to economic planning explicitly problematized rather than elided the articulations between the political and the economic, party and unions, proletarians and peasantry, or managers and workers. Contradictorily, even tragically, this figure of the plan posed the question of what it means for economic planning to contend with the persistence of class struggle, as well as to refuse fantasies of the subsumption of the economic by the political, or vice versa.

Culture has been generally understood as the characteristics and knowledge of a
particular group of people in the areas encompassing language, religion, cuisine,
social habits, music and arts. Margaret Mead, an American cultural anthropologist
defined Culture as “the whole complex of traditional behaviour which has been
developed by the human race and is successively learned by each generation”. Such
shared patterns on behaviour are largely influenced by the nature of spaces. Since
architecture is the physical manifestation of culture, any change in the same has the
power to gradually bring about a change in culture. Societies which have been closely
knit have grown to be non-concerned of each other with changing design patterns.
External influences on architecture and planning from different sources has been
modulating the culture of places. And so, a conscious action towards conservation of
culture can be strengthened by conservation of local architectural heritage. This
important fact has been established in this paper through the study of urban planning
and designs case studies through history of the city of Patna, Bihar, India. With the
assumption that architecture is a complete symbol of human culture it tries to study
the role of architectural conservation in promoting cultural identity.

The water and energy services as landscape functions in the public must be managed by the government alone to sustain the credibility in giving hopes on Juan De la Cruz aspiration with a perfect way and pure substance following the requirements of UNDP Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) No 6 by providing with Clean Water and Sanitation and SDG No 7 for Affordable and Clean Energy in achieving life within the comfort zone and accessibility without compromising the needs of the society, and as a country.

Planning, in the context of the liberal democratic state, has long been concerned with the ordering and improvement of landed property towards a “highest and best use.” In this paper, I interrogate questions of land use and their relationships to planning and property by looking to early 20th century planning in Canada, and more specifically to the city of Winnipeg, Manitoba, at one time the fastest growing and perhaps most economically successful and ethnically diverse city in the nation. I connect land use planning to property by looking at the ways in which ideologies of waste (aimed at categorizing aberrant, un(der)valued elements of the city), deployed by planners at the national scale to evaluate people and land and motivate rationalistic land use control, touched down in 1930s Winnipeg. I scrutinize if and how planners and city officials acted upon waste within planning schemes of improvement. Ultimately, I show that powerful professionalized planning discourses around the implementation of scientific order and the avoidance of waste were taken up selectively by Winnipeg officials in the interests of maintaining a propertied landscape. Private property, in the case of Winnipeg, trumped planning.

Background: Every year at least 2.8 million adults die due to overweight or obesity. Most of the world's population lives in countries where overweight and obesity kills more people than underweight. In informal settlements like slums, NCDs are at particular risk of going undetected by formal health registries until presentation in a late stage of disease or death. NCDs among women have major health challenges. Objectives: To assess prevalence, determine factors responsible for Obesity. Methods: This is a cross sectional study conducted among 405 slum women of age 35 years or more in Rajkot city. Interview and anthropometric measurements like Height and weight were measured for all participants. Results: Total 93 (22.96%) women were diagnosed to be obese and 119 (29.38%) women were pre obese in present study. There was a statistically significant association between socio-economic classification (p=0.050), eating fat rich diet (p=0.004), walking (p=0.000), stress (p=0.033), parental history (p=0.000), sibling history (p=0.002) and obesity. Conclusions: Studied population has high prevalence of overweight and Obesity.

The computer networking technology has entered almost in all aspects of day to day life. In today's world life has become fast and human does not like to waste their precious time, many technologies have been introduced in market to fulfill human needs. As we written above network technology are entering in all aspect of day to day life. The people want almost all things faster and reliable so we are tried to apply that in our project. This Dissertation’s main focus surfaced when I became more exposed to Architecture and learned more about how cities function and grow. It has made me question the existence of these spreading settlements that are deemed by the government and the upper class of Egyptians, as ‘informal’ in the sense of lack of safety and basic services and infrastructure. I started questioning everything; while being an Egyptian citizen for all my life and living in Africa’s largest city. Growing up in the middle of the busy city of Greater Cairo, I began to realise how often one sees an informal settlement when in commute; these micro cities and societies that have been operating and existing in-between neighbourhoods and blocks for more than 50 years, started to become visible to me. I live in a neighbourhood that is considered formal, safe, and registered on the grid, but just 100 meters away, there’s a group of informal settlements that coexist. Over the summer of 2017, I spent some time visiting some of these settlements and studied the culture and the self-supporting community system that exists within. While these informal micro-cities lie on the country’s grid, they act as their own, almost separate, organism that operates within the cracks and crevices of the city. I also got a chance to relate to the people living there and create a bridge of communication between both informal and formal communities which allowed me to pick a more concentrated topic within the wider scope.
The intention is to broaden the limited view of squatter settlements and informal communities around the world. The use of the term ‘informal city’ is the way of summarizing a lifestyle that has become a global phenomenon in recent years and explaining why architects should understand this particular urban practice. Informality is not a school of thought; there is a whole spectrum of views, based upon a narrative about the city between architects and non-architects and between ‘First’ and ‘Third’ world countries. The premise is that informal cities will serve as a base and of reference for evaluating the fundamental problems of cities today.

Public-private favela-upgrading schemes in São Paulo (known as Urban Operations) manage to collect and allocate more funds than the conventional public upgrading. It would thus be safe to assume that favela-upgrading interventions financially backed by Urban Operations are more successful in bringing up indicators related to infrastructure and public services than the conventional public schemes. It might as well be assumed that public-private upgrading also provides economic opportunities and more perceived safety. This is what I have investigated in this thesis. My methods for this research entailed the conduction of semi-structured interviews and informal talks, the consultation of government reports, census data, and real-estate information, as well as taking on-site pictures and the conduction of non-participant observations.

I selected one case study for each type of upgrading scheme. My findings mostly point to the fact that conventionally-funded upgrading and Urban Operations-backed favela interventions achieved similar results in the selected cases, especially when it comes to providing housing affordability, as well as public services, facilities, and infrastructure. Perceived levels of safety also evolved similarly in the studied communities. Economic and real-estate development followed different paths, which nevertheless also resulted in a few similarities. Overall, my analysis showed that the rationale of favela upgrading has reasonably evolved throughout the last decades. Yet, the reality of the upgraded communities that I studied still seems to be unmet by either type of intervention, especially when it comes to the affordability conundrum.

As normal adult human agents we have a remarkable trio of capacities. First, we are capable of acting over time in ways that involve important forms of intentional cross-temporal organization and coordination. Second, we are capable of acting together with others in ways that go significantly beyond standard forms of strategic interaction. Third, we are capable of self-governance. A theory of human agency should include an understanding of these capacities for temporally extended, for shared, and for self-governed intentional agency. In each case we have interrelated concerns that are conceptual, metaphysical, and normative. The response to these concerns is to seek to understand these three capacities as grounded in a common, core capacity for planning agency. This is the conjecture of the fecundity of planning agency.

Marketing planning is the system where a firm exposes its new creative product for the customer where the customer gathers new experience. This assessment in on based on the marketing planning of British Airways where it is involved to lunch better service planning and related activities (McDonald, 2015). This assessment has four different part there first part emphasises on the micro and macro factors of British Airways where it will be explained the marketing implications for the organization.
