Διάλεξη στο πλαίσιο της ευρωπαϊκής ημέρας μουσικής. Δήμος Λοκρών, Δ.Δ. Δαφνουσίων, Λιβανάτες Ν. Φθιώτιδας, 23/6/2019. Στην ίδια εκδήλωση έγινε και βράβευση της γράφουσας από τις Αρχές της Τ.Α. και τη Β/μια Εκπαίδευση για την προσφορά της στην Επιστήμη της Μουσικής.

The paper focuses on the participation of women and the different gender roles in the Candombe, traditional afrodescendants' music and dance from Uruguay, inscribed on the Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity in 2009.
This paper was created in the framework of the preparation of the UNESCO report on Gender and Culture (2014), when UNESCO selected a series of contributions from researchers, institutions, cultural networks and NGOs. These resources are currently available on the UNESCO website, as recommended literature for consultation.

Dans le prolongement des rencontres organisées en 2008 et 2012, Bretagne Culture Diversité et le collectif PCI-Bretagne organisaient les 08 & 09 décembre 2016 les 3e Rencontres internationales du patrimoine culturel immatériel (PCI) en Bretagne.
Nourri d’expériences nationales et internationales, ce rendez-vous s’organisait autour de quatre tables-rondes et offrait l’opportunité de poursuivre les réflexions engagées sur le PCI huit ans après l’organisation des premières rencontres à Rennes.
Quatre ans après, comment mesurer l’impact de l’inscription du fest-noz sur la liste représentative du PCI ? Une table ronde proposait d’interroger cette pratique culturelle et les enjeux contemporains qui la traversent au regard d’autres pratiques musicales et festives reconnues par l’Unesco telles que la samba de Roda du Brésil ou le gwoka de la Guadeloupe.

The struggle to save Hasankeyf from the now imminent flooding in connection with the construction of the hydroelectric dam at Ilisu on the Tigris river in the southeastern part of Turkey has been the subject of international attention for decades. The first part of this paper describes the process with respect to the financing and construction of the dam, examining in particular the lessons learned as to the role of international standards on the protection of cultural heritage in development and their implementation through different actors and processes. The second part discusses the case against Turkey brought by Turkish citizens before the European Court of Human Rights in connection with the construction of the Ilisu dam, highlighting that-despite the outcome of the case-it might still be considered a step forward toward advancing public interest litigation for the protection of cultural heritage. Part three offers conclusions.

In this paper we examine one Intangible Cultural Heritage element inscribed in the Greek National Inventory of ICH, that of Dry Stone Walling, following the steps that are recommended by the mechanism of the Convention, regarding its valorisation as ICH element and its further enhancement through educational programmes for school students, as well as the selection made by the Greek administration to nominate it as multinational file -along with Croatia, Cyprus, France, Italy, Slovenia, Spain and Switzerland- for a possible inscription on the Representative List of ICH of Humanity.

As obras foram produzidas pelo projeto Vídeo nas Aldeias  que,  desde  os  anos  1980,  desenvolve  um  trabalho  colaborativo  com  comunidades  indígenas  na  área  do  audiovisual.  O  primeiro  documentário  foi  realizado  num  contexto de reflexão interna sobre a relação a estabelecer com a sociedade colonial. O segundo filme foi produzido quinze anos  depois  como  parte  do  processo  de  patrimonialização  institucional do ritual Yaokwa que tinha como objetivo alertar para  os  desafios  ambientais  que  vários  empreendimentos  capitalistas  colocavam  à  manutenção  do  modo  de  vida  dos  Enawenê-nawê.

Camden has a long heritage of bands and musical groups in the local community. Playing music has been one of the longest surviving voluntary sector activities in the town. Banding in the Camden area
has a rich history of involvement by amateur musicians who held a variety of paid-day jobs. These folk contributed a large number of hours at community concerts, military parades, remembrance ceremonies, fetes, garden parties, and a host of other community events.

In thinking about the rise of the Anthropocene, an important facet of this looming new era remains under-explored: namely, how cultural identity, and its tangible and intangible markers, are to be renegotiated and protected. Notwithstanding that the origins of international heritage law lie in protecting heritage in times of crisis (wartime and natural or man-made disasters), regimes under UNESCO for safeguarding cultural heritage in international law are ill-prepared for the challenges of the Anthropocene. A particular question that needs to be considered is the protection in international law of cultural heritage and identity when communities are displaced from their homes. Because international cultural heritage law is connected to state territoriality, states have the ultimate authorizing power over the meanings and uses of cultural heritage. In the past, this power has at times been used to the detriment of minority groups contesting the majoritarian state. But how might this power play out in a context where communities are forced to move? What, if anything, can international heritage law do to ensure that these populations, who have already lost their homes and livelihoods, can maintain their cultural identity through the protection of their heritage? I argue that international law's separation between the cultural and biological facets of human existence presents a major obstacle to safeguarding the cultures of migrant and refugee groups, ultimately frustrating the very objectives that this separation was meant to achieve, namely, the protection of these populations. Only by reintegrating biology and culture can international law create the means for reimagining civilization in the Anthropocene.

A significant, but relatively under-reported feature of the 1992-1995Bosnian War has been the destruction caused to national cultural heritage. Reporting has tended to focus on the loss of buildings of high symbolic stature, notably sacral buildings such as churches and mosques, but also public buildings such as the National Library in Sarajevo. This distracts attention from buildings perceived to be of lower value and interest which may, nevertheless, be important. This paper draws attention to the destruction and reconstruction of lesser-known forms of cultural heritage, including uncontested classes of buildings which have suffered collateral damage or incidental harm, and have been neglected by the diversion of attention and funds towards symbolic markers.

In den Geschichtswissenschaften sowie in den historischen und ethnologischen Teildisziplinen der Musikwissenschaft gilt die umfangreiche Sammlung an Schallaufzeichnungen im Berliner Phonogramm-Archiv seit Langem als außerordentlicher Quellenfundus für heterogene historische Sprach-, Geräusch- und Musikzeugnisse. Davon zeugen diverse Auswahleditionen und Dokumentationen. Bisher wurde allerdings kaum der Versuch unternommen, die kolonialgeschichtlichen Bedingungen und Kontexte dieser phonographischen Aufzeichnungen näher zu untersuchen. Diese Qualifikationsschrift untersucht die deutsche Kolonialgeschichte anhand dieser medialen Repräsentationsform. Anhand der phonographischen Einspielungen, die der deutsche Kolonialbeamte Julius Smend zwischen 1905 und 1907 in der ehemaligen deutschen Kolonie Togo in Form von Wachswalzen erstellt hat analysiert die Arbeit die Bedeutung phonographischer Aufnahmen in wissenshistorischer Hinsicht im kolonialen Kontext. Behandelt werden die Fragen nach der Aufnahmesituation, dem Gebrauchskontext und den Entstehungsbedingungen der Tonaufnahmen. Überdies stellt die Arbeit Überlegungen zum Spannungsfeld zwischen Macht und Wissen im kolonialen Kontext.

Değişen çalışma koşulları ve hayat şartları beraberinde tüketici eğilimlerini de değiştirmektedir. Tüketiciler, alışılagelmiş destinasyonlar yerine, daha ilgi çekici aktiviteler sunan destinasyonları tercih etmeye başlamışlardır. Değişen tüketici eğilimleri çerçevesinde seyahat acentaları ve tur operatörleri de yeni destinasyonlar yaratmak durumunda kalmışlardır.  Sinop destinasyonuna Diogenes ve felsefesinin de eklenmesi ile beraber Sinop’un daha güçlü bir destinasyon olması sağlanacaktır.
Bu anlamda birçok uygarlığa beşiklik yapmış Anadolu’da çok fazla destinasyon bulunmaktadır. Bugünkü Anadolu topraklarında yüzyıllar önce felsefenin temelleri atılmıştır. Bu temel Batı Anadolu topraklarından başlayıp neredeyse tüm Anadolu’ya yayılmıştır. Anadolu topraklarında tarihi ve turistik açıdan çok fazla kaynak bulunmaktadır. Hem turizm hem de felsefe açısından bu kaynakların doğru bir şekilde kullanılabilmesi ve tanıtımının yapılabilmesi gerekmektedir. Türkiye’de kültür turizminin canlanması açısından yeni destinasyonların oluşturulması gerekmektedir.  Karadeniz Bölgesi bu anlamda önemli bir örnek sayılabilmektedir. Sinop ili Diogenes’in doğum yeri olması açısından, felsefi ve çeşitli medeniyetlere ev sahipliği yapması bakımından da turistik birçok değere sahiptir.  Bu değerler kültür turizmi açısından değerlendirilmelidir. Çalışmada Sinop ili tarihi ve kültürel açıdan incelenmiş ve ünlü filozof Diogenes ’in hayatı, kişiliği ve felsefesi anlatılmıştır.

Türkçenin tarihi geçmişi incelendiğinde sözlü dil tarihinin milattan önceki dönemlere, yazılı dil tarihinin ise 7. yüzyıla (Çoyr/Çoyren Yazıtı) kadar dayandığı bilinmektedir. Böylesine geniş bir tarihsel süreç Türkçenin kültür bakımından da zenginleşmesine olanak sağlamıştır. Bu durum başta ana dili öğretimi olmak üzere yabancı dil olarak Türkçe öğretimini de etkilemektedir. Çünkü dilin önemli işlevlerinden biri olan kültür aktarımı, dil öğretimi sürecinde de etkili olmaktadır. Bir toplumun karakteristik kültürel değerlerinin ve özelliklerinin yeni nesillere çeşitli yollarla aktarılması olarak tanımlanan kültür aktarımının bir boyutunu da Somut Olmayan Kültürel Miras (SOKÜM) unsurları oluşturmaktadır. Bu çalışmanın amacı, yabancı dil olarak Türkçe ders kitaplarında yer alan somut olmayan kültürel miras unsurlarını incelemektir. Çalışmada nitel araştırma yöntemi çerçevesinde doküman incelemesine başvurulmuştur. Çalışma dokümanlarını Gazi Üniversitesi TÖMER tarafından yayımlanan yabancılar için Türkçe ders kitapları oluşturmaktadır. Dokümanlar tümdengelimsel analiz tekniği ile çözümlenmiştir. İncelenen ders kitaplarının tümünde SOKÜM ögelerine yer verildiği ancak okuma metni sayısı göz önünde bulundurulduğunda tüm kitaplarda SOKÜM unsurlarının oranının ortalama % 20 olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Ders kitaplarının düzeyleri ele alındığında ise temel düzeyde (A1-A2) 9, orta düzeyde (B1-B2) 10, ileri düzeyde (C1) ise 7 SOKÜM ögesi tespit edilmiştir. Yabancı dil olarak Türkçe ders kitaplarında 38 SOKÜM alt ögesinden yalnızca 13'üne yer verildiği  Bu çalışma, 27-30 Nisan 2018 tarihinde Nevşehir'de gerçekleştirilen "X. Uluslararası Eğitim Araştırmaları Kongresi"nde sözlü olarak sunulan ve özet olarak yayınlanan bildiri temel alınarak hazırlanmıştır.

Helsingin ja Oulun yliopistojen Lapin synkkä kulttuuriperintö -projektissa on tutkittu saksalaisten toisen maailmansodan aikaisia materiaalisia jäänteitä ja niiden monia merkityksiä Lapissa. Saksalaisten läsnäolo jatkosodan aikana liittolaisina ja Lapin sodassa vihollisina on ollut sodanjälkeisinä vuosikymmeninä poliittisesti vaikea ja vähätelty aihe. Myös heidän jättämiin materiaalisiin jäänteisiin on suhtauduttu ristiriitaisesti. Niitä on esimerkiksi nimitetty ”sotaromuksi”, joka sotkee Lapin ”koskemattoman” luonnon, ja materiaalia on korjattu maastosta satoja tonneja.
